Tasting Notes
Bright gold in color. Crème Brulee, cardamom, acacia honey, and blossoming rose on the nose. Mild and smooth, hint of mint, deep honey on the palate. With a clean and clear, spiced oak with subtle bittersweet notes finish.
Best Paired With
This is most suited as a mixer, rather than a sipper. A highball, as described for the Nikka Days whisky that also made our best Japanese whisky round-up, is a great starting point for The Chita. The light flavor brings greater flexibility for pairing with food – it’s even delicate enough to accompany sushi.
