In 1899, Shinjiro Torii starts the Torii Shoten store in Osaka, Japan. Here, he begins to produce and sell wine. Over the decades, Suntory has introduced many types of spirits not traditionally found in Japan, including whiskies and liqueurs. More recently we have also put a great deal of energy into developing ready-to-drink (RTD) alcoholic beverages that make it even easier for people to enjoy a drink. Horoyoi is a popular, canned chu-hi beverage with an alcohol content of 3%. The white Horoyoi is a sort of milky flavor, and here in Japan it is a very popular, notably in Calpis. It is a little sour. It is an excellent summer drink. Horoyoi is a 3% alcohol Chu-Hi beverage with a sweet and gentle texture that can be leisurely enjoyed at your own pace.
