We seek to make wines which are original, fresh, elegant and easy to drink. Since the beginning, we have always had a clear vocation for export. Today we can be found in more 110 countries to which we export more than 60% of our production. Marques de Riscal Proximo is a new addition to the Marqués range and is a bright and fruit driven Rioja style sourced from slightly younger Tempranillo vines. Very strict parcel selection along with traditional picking techniques, this Rioja is bursting with dark blackberry fruit with notes of rich, ripe plums. Hints of licorice and star anise also give the wine a superb backbone that is perfectly suited many Mediterranean cuisines.

Tasting Notes
Has a deep, clear, dark cherry red color with a violet hue. Medium aromatic intensity, clean and young with hints of strawberries and red cherries aroma. Marques de Riscal Proximo is a medium-bodied with lovely ripe fruit taste and slight toasted oak in the finish.
Best Paired With
Goes well with ham, cheeses which are not too mature, casseroles with mild sauces, stewed pulses and hotpots, poultry, red meat, roasts and grills.
