Full-bodied and fruit-driven, Hahn Founder’s wines are richly textured with fresh, bright flavors and balanced acidity. Fruit is sourced from long-standing, like-minded Central Coast growers to ensure exceptional quality. Our Cabernet Sauvignon is grown in outstanding vineyards throughout California, primarily the warmer climates in Lodi and Paso Robles. Here grapes ripen fully and develop ample red cherry and black currant flavors on the vine. Once harvested we barrel ferment our grapes in French oak, enhancing the wine’s mouthfeel and contributing a subtle spicy aroma.

Tasting Notes

Inviting aromas of blackberry and plum are complemented by hints of vanilla, leather and toasted oak. Rich and robust tannins frame flavors of blackberry, violet and mature red fruit, with a touch of vanilla and spice on a smooth and opulent finish.
