Tasting Notes
Fundador Light is a very complex bouquet, full of spicy oak notes mixed with nuts, honey, vanilla sweets and toffee. Structured, rounded, smooth on the palate, highly complex, with almond nuances and full of notes of Sherry mixed with hints of vanilla and caramel. The finish is long and persistent. Fundador Double Light is a well-balanced complex and clean, with hints of walnuts, almonds and reminiscences of the Oloroso that has contained the wood. Smooth dry with notes of oak and mineral notes, leaving a pleasant persistence.
Best Paired With
Fundador Light is perfect and enjoyed well with tapas or charcuterie, dried fruits, chocolate desserts, pastries, and spicy (Chinese) foods. Also best enjoyed after meals as a digestive or combination with coffee. Fundador Double Light is perfect to enjoy anytime neat, in a cocktail or mixed with soft drinks.
