Viña Aromo is a family-owned winery located in the heart of the Maule Valley, Chile. Viña Aromo 's expressive and innovative wines reflect the excellence of its winemaking team. Casa lo Matta is a wine from Valle Central. A typical red grape from Bordeaux, France, Merlot came to life by crossing Cabernet Franc with Magdeleine Noire des Charentes. Its name refers to the similarity of its mature bunches to the down of the Merle bird (Blackbird), common in the region's vineyards. It is also known by the names: Merlau, Plant Médoc, Sémillon Rouge, Béguey, Picard, Alicante and Crabutet Noir.
